Brewton
Mr. Randy Joseph Blackburn, 47, of Appleton Road, died suddenly March 12, 2008. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Lee Salter Blackburn.
He is survived by his father J.D. Blackburn of Brewton; a special friend, Kay Winstead of Brewton; two sons, Kevin Blackburn of Brewton, and Keifer Cheyenne Blackburn of Decatur; two daughters, Frances Powell of Louisiana, and Megan Blackburn of Elberta; five brothers, Richard Blackburn and Joey Blackburn, both of Brewton, and Tony McClain, Chester McClain and William Paul, all of Greenville; two sisters, Freida Chavers of Decatur, and Teresa Madden of Brewton; and the family of Kay Winstead, Wade Winstead, Angie Crutchfield, Melanie Jett, Brett Gibson, Brooks Crutchfield, Tyler Crutchfield, Brianna Jett and Braxton Winstead.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Peavy officiating. Burial followed at Weaver's Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
