Eagles lose to Andalusia, Excel, dropping to 5-7

The W.S. Neal Eagles dropped to 5-7 and 1-1 in area play on Monday when they lost an 8-4 decision to the Andalusia Bulldogs in Andalusia.
The Bulldogs scored seven run in the fifth inning to overcome a 2-1 Eagle lead and hang on for the 8-4 win.
William Shell took the loss on the mound for the Eagles dropping his record to 4-2 on the year. Shell went six innings and allowed eight hits and three walks while striking out six.
Tyler Nall was 2-for-2 at the plate for the Eagles with a double and a RBI.
Tyler Brown was 2-for-3 with a RBI and Jake Cannon was 1-for-4.
In a Saturday game against Excel, the Eagles surrendered a big lead and fell to 5-6 on the year after a 13-11 loss to the Panthers in Excel.
Shell was 3-for-3 with a homerun and a double.
The Eagles are scheduled to take on Florala on Thursday in Florala for a 6 p.m. game.
