Lady Tigers drop two, now 4-5

The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger softball team fell to 4-4 on the year on Tuesday when they lost a 5-2 game to Escambia County.
In a junior varsity game, Miranda Anderson and Laurel Billy continued their pitching dominance for the Lady Tigers (4-0) as they combined for a no-hitter and a 13-0 win.
On Thursday, the Lady Tigers suffered a 5-0 loss to Andalusia to fall to 4-5 on the season.
Leslie Nalty pitched the first inning and gave up two hits, and the Tigers made two errors. Rachel Bostic pitched the rest of game and gave up four hits over six innings. The Tigers made three more errors and only had two hits.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Flomaton and will be in action at home against Mary G. Montgomery and Jay (Fla.) on Friday.
