I'm sure there are plenty of ladies out there that have been “volunteered” by their husbands to provide a dish at a function. I have been in that group before and have recently been volunteered by my husband to be in that group again.
He signed me up to provide a dessert for the dessert bar at the upcoming W.S. Neal High School prom dinner. My husband teaches at the school, so that's how I got the call to cook for a group of junior and senior students for their prom.
Since the theme for their prom is something about a night in Paris, I decided to look up a few recipes for French inspired desserts.
