Mike Haveard will be back in an Escambia County Courtroom at 1 p.m. today to find out if the $8 million bond he has been placed under will be reduced.
Daniel White is serving as Haveard's new attorney after Earnest White withdrew from the case last week, citing a conflict of interest.
Family and friends of Haveard are hoping the $8 million bond set in the case involving drug and theft charges will be reduced. The bond was attached by a grand jury following indictments including four charges of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, four counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and four counts of criminal solicitation to commit first degree theft of property. Haveard has been held since his March 3.
