Mike Haveard, charged with two new drug and theft charges earlier this week, received a new bond on those charges Thursday.
Judge Dave Jordan ordered Haveard held on a total of $175,000 property bond on the new charges – one count of bringing stolen property across state lines and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Last week, Circuit Judge Bert Rice ordered Haveard's bond on eight other drug and theft charges reduced from an $8 million cash bond to a total of $700,000 property bond.
Haveard was apparently close to making that bond Tuesday when new charges were brought against him.
As of Thursday afternoon, Haveard was still in the Escambia County Detention Center.
