Mrs. Elise Marie “Lily” Mautes Self, 76, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of St. Avould, France, and a former resident of Augusta, Ga., before moving to Escambia County in 1977. She was a retired seamstress with Judy Bond Fashions with 20 years of service, and a member of the East Brewton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Mulvaney of Evergreen; a sister-in-law, Louise Nelson of East Brewton; and a number of friends and other family members.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
