Lady Warhawks drop softball games

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team dropped five of six games in recent days to fall to 13-29 overall and 4-12 in conference play.
The Lady Warhawks fell to LBW 3-1 and 7-3 before defeating Wallace State of Dothan 4-2. They fell 3-2 in game two.
The Lady Warhawks then dropped a 6-2 and a 4-3 decision to Enterprise Ozark Wednesday to fall to 13-29 on the season.
JDCC was scheduled to take on Sneads State Saturday in their last home game of the season.
JDCC will close out their season with a four-game road trip against Bishop State, Faulkner State, Alabama Southern, and PJC.
JDCC 1, LBW 3
In game one against LBW, LBW held a 3-0 lead over the Lady Warhawks before JDCC scored in the top of the seventh inning.
Ashleigh Allgood was 1-for-3 at the plate with one RBI in the loss.
Allgood also took the loss on the mound going six innings and allowing eight hits, three runs (two earned) two walks and seven strikeouts.
JDCC 3, LBW 7
In game two, JDCC scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to cut the lead to 7-3. That was all the runs they would get falling by four.
Sarah Vardeman was 1-for-3 with two RBIs in the loss. Carla Ray took the loss on the mound for the Lady Warhawks. She sent six innings and allowed 11 hits and seven runs (five earned), walked none and struck out two.
JDCC 4, Wallace State 2
JDCC scored two runs in the top of the sixth to grab a 4-2 lead after a 2-2 tie to claim the two run win.
Jayla Davis and Ashleigh Allgood had a double each in the win. Davis went on to add two RBIs.
Allgood took the win going for seven innings. During her time on the mound, she allowed four hits and two runs while walking four and striking out eight.
JDCC 2, Wallace State 3
The Lady Warhawks scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to force the game into extra innings before falling to a run in the bottom of the eighth to fall 3-2.
Shanelle Bradshaw, Jami Lott, Sarah Vardeman and Brittany Cahoon all had hits in the game as Cahoon added two RBIs.
Kayla McKnight picked up the loss on the mound as she went two and two-thirds inning and allowed three hits and one run.
JDCC 2, Enterprise Ozark 6
The Lady Warhawks fell to 13-28 and 4-11 in conference play with a 6-2 loss to Enterprise on Wednesday.
Tiffany Cayson and Allgood both had doubles in the loss. Cayson was 2-for-4 and Allgood was 2-for-4 with one RBI. Vardeman was 2-for-2 on the day.
Allgood took the loss on the mound as she went seven innings and allowed nine hits and six runs (four earned). Allgood walked three and struck out three in the loss.
JDCC 3, Enterprise Ozark 4
In the final game against Enterprise, JDCC dropped to 13-29 and 4-12 overall with a 4-3 loss.
Jayla Davis was 2-for-4 along with Cayson and Allgood. Jami Lott was 2-for-2 in the loss. Davis, Cayson and Kim Carter all had a RBI each in the game.
Carla Ray took the loss as she went seven innings and allowed seven hits, four runs (two earned), and walked one and struck out five.
