Facelifts and construction changes are becoming more evident as workers continue their plans for renovations at the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center on Douglas Avenue.
The Mitchell Company in Mobile owns the complex and has arranged for the renovations to be completed by Commercial Renovators from Malbis.
Mike Hart, owner of Badcock's Home Furnishings, said he is anxious to see the project completed.
Hart said the new additions and upgrades to the center will be more appealing to the public.
Dean said the project is on schedule for the time line given for completion.
Dean said work left to be done includes stucco and molding on the roof framing areas as well as column work along the sidewalk.
The sidewalks will feature brick columns for additional support at intervals along the breezeway.
