Turtle Point to host environmental day

Join the fun at Turtle Point's Celebrate the Environment Day on April 26.
Activities are planed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the centers location on U.S. 31 in Flomaton. The center is located directly behind the Hurricane baseball fields.
The family event features free environmental education, fun, food. Bring the family to see Steve Trash – Environmental Magician; The Montgomery Zoo and many other exhibits &presentations. There will be activities for all ages and levels of learning.
Indoor activites include a bat presentation by Vicky Smith will be presented at 9:30 and 11 a.m. and again at 12:45 p.m.
Story teller, Jeff Hughes will hold special sessions at 10:15 a.m. and again at 1:15 p.m.
A special animal presentation will be conducted at noon by Stephen Faughn.
At 1:45 p.m., Roger Reid will be holding a naturalist talk and book signing session.
On the outdoor stage, Steve Trash will present his magic show at 9:15 and 11:45 a.m. and at 2:15 p.m.
Animal presentations by Stephen Faughn will be held at 10 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m.
Guests from the Montgomery Zoo will be holding additional animal presentations at 10:45 a.m. and at 12:30 p.m.
