Mr. Albert Gerald Dunn, 83, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at a local hospital. He was a native and former resident of Mobile, and a resident of Flomaton for the past 11 years. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Carney Masonic Lodge 549, the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 188, a machinist for 40 years in Mobile and attended the Little Escambia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Anna B. McKee Dunn of Flomaton; two sons, Stein J. Farrior of Waynesboro, Miss., and Tommy Allgood of Flomaton; a daughter, Lecta Annette Allgood Johnson of Purvis, Miss., nine step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucy Davis of Wewawhitchka, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 3 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hogg officiating. Burial will follow at Little Escambia Cemetery with military and Masonic honors with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be his brother Masons.
