Byrneville, Fla.
Mrs. Willie Mae Stuckey Compton, 81, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in Century, Fla. She was a native of Century, a former resident of Mobile and New Orleans, and a resident of Byrneville since 1980. She attended the Byrneville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Byron Stuckey and Oria Stuckey, both of Byrneville; and two sisters, Esther Jones of Bryneville and Viola Stapleton of Theodore.
Funeral service were held Friday, April 25, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Stuckey officiating. Burial followed at Byrneville Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Bill Stuckey, Buster Townson, John Townson, Herman Armstrong, Charlie Brown, and Arnold Weaver.
