TK to offer business briefing sessions

ThyssenKrupp Steel USA is presenting the first ThyssenKrupp Business-to-Business briefing May 6.
According to Marshall Rogers with the Escambia County Industrial Development Authority, this briefing will specifically focus on the immediate and future construction needs regarding the ThyssenKrupp project.
The Business-to-Business session will be held beginning with registration at 8 a.m. at the Mobile Civic Center.
John Boston, director of purchasing for ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, LLC will present a project overview of the construction needs for the ThyssenKrupp plant in north Mobile County.
Included in this presentation will be immediate construction needs, future needs, timelines, and the procedure to receive a pre-qualifying package.
Along with ThyssenKrupp (TK) agents, will be a representative from the Alabama State Port Authority.
After the overview presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions with all representatives to learn more about these opportunities.
There will be two general project overview presentations, each followed by two (2) 45 minute breakout sessions by all participating agencies.
Attendees may choose to attend the morning or afternoon overview, and any of the breakout sessions.
Each agency will present the same information in all four breakout sessions.
Anyone interested in attending the event must pre-register by submitting contact information and completing a pre-qualification questionnaire.
ThyssenKrupp requests the pre-qualification questionnaire be filled in as completely as possible.
It is a comprehensive questionnaire. However, some of the questions asked will not apply to all companies.
