Mr. Henry Leo Cain, 85, of the Sandcut community of Castleberry, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at an Evergreen nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Escambia County and a long-time resident of Castleberry. He was a retired truck driver with more than 70 years of trucking. He attended the Appleton Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Green Cain of Castleberry; three daughters, Kathie Dunsford Morris and Sue (Donald) Janes, both of Castleberry, and Rebecca (John) Ward of Evergreen; four sisters, Eula Mae Pugh and Wilma Chavers, both of Brewton, Ophelia Chavers of Molino, Fla., and Betty Faye Madden of Castleberry; five grandchildren, Norman Morris, Kevin Dunsford, Jeffrey Janes, Britt Ward and Auburn Carrier; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ McDonald officiating. Burial followed at London Baptist Church Cemetery near Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
