JDCC hoops gets recruits for 08-09 season

Jefferson Davis Community College basketball coach Allen Gainer has been busy on the recruiting trail as of late. Gainer has added eight signees as of now and is looking to add more. Players currently signed with the Warhawks are:
Deforest Taite, 6'1 guard from Clarke County High in Grove Hill. Taite was a first team all state in 3A, finalist for Mr. Basketball.
Justin Burroughs, 6'2 guard from Clarke County. Burroughs was a second team all state selection.
Daril Jackson, 6'2 guard from Thomasville High School (AL). Jackson was an honorable mention all state.
Tysean Thompson 5'11 guard Thomasville. “Tysean is an outstanding shooter,” Gainer said.
Antron Holt, 6'6 small forward Thomasville. “Antron is versatile, talented, athletic and he may end up our best signee.” Gainer said.
Tacory Marshall, 6'5 post Thomasville.
Logan Campbell, 6'6 small forward/post from Central (Milton).
Brandon Howard, 5'11 guard from Taylor Road Academy Montgomery.
