Mr. Richard Norman Stewart, 78, of Liles Street, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, in a Pensacola medical facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Mobile, a former resident of Bay Minette and a long-time resident of East Brewton. He was a member of Divine Temple and a retired auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Bell Stewart of East Brewton; two sons, Wayne (Deborah) Stewart of Evergreen, and Clarence (Bonnie) Stewart of East Brewton; a daughter, Dianne (Mike) Parker of East Brewton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral servivces will be held Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
