Clay Parker named camp counselor at AU

Clay Parker of Brewton was selected as a 2008 Auburn University Camp War Eagle counselor.
Camp War Eagle is Auburn University's award-winning freshman orientation program.
There are eight sessions of camp throughout the summer, in which counselors lead groups of 12-15 incoming students.
Parker is currently a sophomore at the university and is majoring in biomedical sciences.
He is a member of the SGA Executive Cabinet, where he serves as the assistant director of city relations.
Students at the Univeristy of Auburn held elections recently for Student Government Association positions. Parker was chosen Senator at Large in the election.
Parker is also a current member of the Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honor Society and serves on the executive council of his social fraternity.
He is a 2006 graduate of T.R. Miller High School.
Parker is the son of Dr. Terry and Susan Parker of Brewton.
