John Barnett, president of BankTrust, recently announced the promotions of two bank employees, Shana Lambeth and Marlene Scott.
Lambeth has been named Loan Operations Manager. She is a 1997 honors graduate from Flomaton High School and has been employed with BankTrust since 2001.
During her time at BankTrust, she has held the positions of teller, head teller and vault custodian.
She has also filled in for the Financial Services Representatives.
In 2004, Lambeth transferred to the loan department and was the insurance clerk before becoming a loan processor.
She has attended several compliance training seminars and an Alabama Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division title seminar.
Scott has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager.
She is a graduate of Jay High School and has 22 years of banking experience.
She is involved in Member of Friends Organization, which provides scholarships for seniors and community projects.
She is a member of Jay First Baptist Church.
She is married to Wesley Scott and they have three children.
BankTrust of Brewton offers three locations for customers of the institution.
The main branch is located in downtown Brewton on Belleville Avenue.
The north branch is located on Douglas Avnue with the east branch located on Forrest Avenue in East Brewton.
