Mrs. Dorothy Lee Janes, 75, died Friday, May 16, 2008 in an Atmore nursing facility. She was a native and long-time resident of Castleberry. She was a care provider for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, Phyllis Bonner of Saraland, Tony Janes, Julia Howell, Eddie Janes and Patsy Friend, all of Pensacola, Angie Rico of Castleberry, Kelly Benefield of Flomaton and Earl Brown of Mississippi.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
