Seniors get chance to graduate

The Brewton City School Board made a unanimous decision that will allow six additional students an opportunity to receive their diplomas from T.R. Miller High School.
The decision was made based on recommendations from the Alabama Department of Public Education allowing students to graduate with a credit-based diploma.
Smith said this new plan is called the “First Choice” plan of State Superintendent Joe Morton.
