City, county and federal employees will be getting a three-day weekend in observance of Memorial Day Monday.
The holiday will also see a variety of businesses closed for the day. Some services will also be suspended in honor of the day.
Officials with Allied Waste said those areas scheduled for regular pick-up on Monday will have their garbage picked up on Tuesday instead.
In East Brewton, garbage and trash pickup will be conducted as usual, according to Street and Sanitation Supervisor Steve Dunaway.
