Voters in Escambia County and across the state will be headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballot in the primary elections.
Two races are of special interest to Brewton area voters - the race for Escambia County School Board, District 1, and Escambia County Commissioner, District 2.
The Brewton Standard recently polled candidates in those two races. The questions and candidates answers are printed here to allow voters additional information from the candidates.
In the school board race, the two candidates are incumbent Michael Goolsby and Byron Palmer.
