Mrs. Carolyn Dianne Pearson Baker, 62, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at her residence in Castleberry after a brief illness. She was a native and life long resident of Conecuh County. She was a member of Appleton Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Baker of Castleberry; a daughter, Wendy (James) Davis of Castleberry; a sister, Patsy Cain of Brewton; a half-brother, Travis Pearson Jr. of Mobile; two half-sisters; and two grandchildren, Amber Davis and Heather Davis.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Hall and Brother Chad Cooper officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
