Well, like last week I am writing this column early due to the fact that I am on vacation, but I will be back for Sunday's edition.
I told my sister that I would not be in town the week that the June 4 paper comes out, but since I am writing this column early I can wish here a happy birthday. Happy Birthday Kelly!
OK, for the column:
I figured we would try some more Alabama High School football trivia…here goes, enjoy!:
1. What team has the most win in the AHSAA?
2. What team has the second most wins in the AHSAA?
3. What coach has the most wins through 2007 (active or non active)?
4. What school has the most state championships?
5. Which school has the most consecutive state championships?
6. Which school has the most shutouts?
7. Which school has been shutout the most times in one season? (Hint: two schools)
8. Which school has the most points in a season?
9. Which school has the most points scored in a game?
10. Which two schools combined for the most points in a game?
Well how did you do?
Answers:
1). Colbert County-583 2.) T.R. Miller-582 3.) Glenn Daniel-302 4.) Hazlewood-11 5.) Hazlewood-5 6.) Clay County-11 7.) Grand Bay 1960 and Linden 1957 with nine 8.) 761-Demoplis-2004 9.) 125 Langdale vs. Milltown in 1925 10.) 139- Parrish with 81 and Hubbertville 58.
I hope everyone had a good time taking this quiz and until Sunday when we meet again here or out in the world of sports, God bless.
