Cornfield entertainment found close to home

Colvin and Lavelle Davis have turned their cornfield into a place of entertainment for many summers and this year is no exception.
Davis said he and his wife chose to create a maze within their cornfield seven years ago because it provides wholesome entertainment for area residents.
There are many twists and turns within the corn that will eventually lead individuals to the end of the maze.
Davis said Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are available for groups by appointment only. Nightime visitors must remember to bring their own flashlight.
Admission for the maze is $5 a person and free for children under the age of 5 if accompanied by an adult.
There are also refreshments available onsite. There is a hayride after going through the maze for no additional charge.
