The Covenant Hospice branch office in Brewton is seeking to fill three volunteer positions.
The non-profit organization is looking for compassionate volunteers who are interested in making a difference in the lives of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
A Patient and Family Volunteer position is available to provide respite care to patient's families and to provide companionship to patients.
There is also a need for a special 11th Hour Volunteer, to visit with patients who are on the final journey.
For those who are not interested in direct patient care, Covenant Hospice is also looking for an Administrative Volunteer with computer skills, who is available two hours a week to help with light office and data processing work.
Even if you only have a little time to give, you can make a difference.
Training is provided for all three volunteer positions. To register for training or to learn more, please call Jodie Williams at 251-862-6993.
