The board of directors of The Securance Group recently met and appointed Terece Shehan as vice president.
Shehan began her career with Escambia Insurance as a personal lines customer service representative in 1983. She then moved to customer service representative for the commercial lines department and named as commercial lines manager in 2006 after merging with The Securance Group.
Shehan received the designation of certified insurance service representative from the Alabama Independent Insurance Association. In past years, Shehan has been active on several school activity boards in the Brewton City School system and is involved in various activities at First Baptist Church Brewton. She and her husband, Tommy, have two sons, Tyler and Tanner, who attend the University of Alabama.
Shehan earned a bachelor of science degree in marking from Troy State University.
