Mrs. Bonne Sue Halford, 62, of Curran Circle, died Friday, July 11, 2008, in a Pensacola medical facility after an extended illness. She was a native and long time resident of East Brewton and a member of East Brewton First Baptist Church. She was retired from Judy Bond with 25 years of service and formerly employed as a housekeeper at West Gate Village Nursing Home with eight years of service. She was preceded in death by son, James Edwin Hendricks.
She is survived by a son, Will West of East Brewton; a daughter, Melissa Hendricks of East Brewton; a brother, Fred Whitfield of Pensacola; four sisters, Mary Lang of Indianapolis, Ind., Fay Whitfield of Milton,Fla., and Margaret Knott and Deb Carroll, both of Brewton; and two grandchildren, Jackson Carpenter and Kendall Carpenter.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 13, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery with Willliams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
