This year my son played on Brewton Little League's 10-11 all-star team.
After months of practice, games played it is over for this year. But so often we forget to appreciate the time and effort the coaches and their families put in for the benefit of the boys.
During this baseball seaon Mark Manning, Thomas Harp, and Frank Reid did a terrific job teaching our boys to be better than they were when they hit the field. There were numerous other dads and moms who helped, but these three coaches gave up their free time and vacation time to spend the summer coaching this team. They no only taught them bunts and sliding, but committment and teamwork.
I just thought a hats off to a job well done was in order. Great job guys.
