Mrs. Cheryl Huff Jobe, 61, died Aug. 1, 2008, in Charlottesville, Va. after an extended illness. She was a native of Millport, Ala., a former resident of Corning, N.Y. and a former resident of Brewton. She was an active volunteer in several organizations and was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Arnette Huff.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Lynn Jobe; her son, Jason (Jennifer Cunningham) Jobe of Hastings on Hudson, N.Y.; a daughter, Janet (Christian) Guzzano of Alexandria, Va.; her father, Mervin Huff; her sister, Patricia Denholm of Huntsville; a brother, Steve Huff of Decatur, Ala.; and six grandchildren, Michael Guzzano, Isabelle Guzzano, Allie Jobe, Jack Guzzano, Nora Jobe and Paolo Guzzano.
Memorial services will be held August 16, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Taylor's Chapel United Methodist Church near Dover, Tenn. Family and friends will be received at the home of Bruce and Debbie Jobe at 349 Lower Standing Rock Road, near Dover following the service.
