Mrs. Lois Marie King Cole, 67, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008 in a Jay, Fla., medical facility after a brief illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church, a 1959 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, David (Lottie) Cole of Brewton; two daughters, Diane Johnson and Darlene (Jeffery) Moulder, both of Brewton; six brothers, Charlie King of Georgia, Earl King of Pensacola, Bill King of Roberts, Ralph King of Allentown, Fla., Huey King of Brewton, and Hubert Williamson of Pensacola; and four grandchildren, Justin Cole, Jessica Johnson, Cord Moulder and Austin Hiers.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Smith officiating. Burial followed at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Roberts, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
