Mr. Luther Edward “Ed” McDonald, 59, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, in an Evergreen hospital. He was a native of Brewton and a resident of Castleberry for the past 35 years, coming from Flomaton. He was a road grader by trade and was of the Holiness faith.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine McDonald of Castleberry; two sons, Kenneth Edward McDonald and Derrick Dewayne McDonald, both of Castleberry; two daughters, Angela Christene Fawley of Range, and Kimberly Ann Willis of Castleberry; two brothers, Dennis Ray McDonald of Pensacola, Fla., and Don Lee McDonald of Repton; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. at New Haven Holiness Church with the Rev. Gam Graves and the Rev. Earl Burch officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
