The Greater Brewton Chamber of Commerce gave area candidates an opportunity to address issues during a political forum held Tuesday on the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College.
With a near capacity crowd on hand for the forum, candidates in each race were given three minutes to address the audience, Crane said. Ample time was allowed to give candidates an opportunity to mix and mingle with those attending the forum to answer questions informally.
Highlights of the forum:
Beginning the forum were candidates vying for the position of East Brewton's mayor. Incumbent Terry Clark was the first to take the podium followed by challenger Al Wood.
