Sometimes known as “Ultimate Fighting,” the sport of Mixed Martial Arts is sweeping the country by storm. Seen on TV on channels like Spike and Versus, MMA (as the sport's called in most circles) is gaining ground from the days when it in banned in most states and thought to be no more than a “blood sport.”
Full Contact Event's promoter and matchmaker Kelly Williams knows what it's like to hear that cage door close behind him, he's participated in the sport since it's very beginnings.
With nearly 30 years in the martial arts (15 alone training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a staple in the MMA Arena) there's not much this man hasn't experienced.
Williams has stepped into the ring with some of the biggest names in the Sport today.
The benefit of all that experience inside the Cage will come to bear outside of it on Aug. 30 when Williams and Full Contact Events bring “Full Contact Fighting in the Cage” to the Brewton National Guard Armory.
Those interested in seeing what all the hype is about can witness it first hand on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The Brewton National Guard Armory opens it's doors at 7 p.m. with the first fights scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
For more information on the event as well as VIP Seating and Sponsorship opportunities, Kelly Williams can be reached at 850-603-9027.
