I would like to use this forum to thank Bobi and David Rush for their  unselfish dedication of their time and energy to the T. R. Miller High School Band for the last 12 years.
Bobi has been our concession stand coordinator for the past several years and served in various other offices with the Band Boosters.
She and David have been devoted to the band far above any one else I know in this community. They have spent countless hours sweating in the concession stand on Thursday and Friday nights, not to mention the hours spent just getting ready for those nights.
I am not sure people really understand the amount of work that goes into running the concession stands. Bobi and David have worked it for as long as I have lived in Brewton (which is  nine years). They worked just as hard for us after their daughter, Elizabeth, graduated.
As Bobi steps down from her position as concession stand coordinator for a well deserved rest, the T. R. Miller Highs School Band Boosters want to extend our most sincere gratitude for the years of service. She was the glue that held us together through the changes in band directors. She taught us well, and we hope to make her proud as we continue to strive for excellence in the T. R. Miller Band.
Thank you to David, who has spent many hours riding the school buses as a chaperon to all our games and contest. He continues to be the “voice of the Awarding Winning T. R. Miller High School Marching Band,” and we appreciate you. So on behalf of our current as well as past Bands and Band Boosters I say thank you and we love you!
