Driskell Howard Riddle

Mr. Driskell Howard Riddle, 77, of Foshee Road, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Clay County, before moving to Brewton. He was a member of East Brewton Methodist Church, the McCall Volunteer Fire Department, and retired from Barber Milk Company with 45 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Curry Riddle of Brewton; two sons, Robert (Jerilyn) Curry of Brewton and Lewis (Vicki) Curry Jr. of Thorsby; four daughters, Marilyn (Ronnie) Mize and Susan (Ted) Jennings, both of Brewton, Brenda Riddle of Long Island, N.Y., and Beverly (Rick) Bedard of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Memphis Riddle of Brewton and Clayton Riddle of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Ogletree of Brewton and Sarah Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Sam Frazier.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at East Brewton Methodist Church with the Rev. George Weaver and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
