Tigers welcome winless Lions

After a big offensive performance last week at home against the Bayside Academy Admirals with 540 total yards of offense, the 3-0 T.R. Miller Tigers take on winless Central of Hayneville this week at home.
T.R. Miller is coming off a 41-13 win over Bayside to improve to 3-0 on the season overall and 2-0 in region play.
Central of Hayneville is coming off a 30-14 loss to Calhoun and is 0-3 overall and 0-2 in region play. In week one, the Lions fell 34-0 to 2A Keith and in week two fell to Luverne 48-6 in the region opener of the 2008 season for both teams.
While the Lions have an 0-3 record coming into Brewton Municipal Stadium this week, Riggs said
T.R. Miller has scored 111 points on offense this season for an average of 37 points a game. On defense, the Tigers are giving up an average of 18 points a game with 53 total points given up.
Central of Hayneville has scored 20 points on the season for an average of six points a game and is giving up 37 points a game for a total of 112 points.
Game time between the Tigers of Brewton and the Central of Hayneville Lions is set for 7 p.m. in Brewton at Brewton Municipal Stadium on the campus of T.R. Miller High School.
