After being shutout by Andalusia last Friday night in their first road game of the season 26-0, the W.S. Neal Eagles welcome the Thomasville Tigers to East Brewton in a class 4A region one game.
With the loss to Andalusia, W.S. Neal fell to 1-2 overall and to 0-2 in region play.
Thomasville picked up their first win last week with a 17-6 win over B.C. Rain. The Tigers had previously lost to 1A Sweet Water 30-14 in week one and then fell to UMS-Wright 21-14 in week two and in their fist region game of the year.
While their record may be deceiving at 1-2, Hathcock said that Thomasville's defense is pretty good.
Hathcock had just about the same amount of respect on offense for the Tigers as he had for the Tiger's defensive unit.
As for his offensive, Hathcock said it is all about just sustaining drives and putting up points.
Thomasville has scored 45 points on the season for an average of 15 points a game and is giving up 57 points for an average of 19 points.
W.S. Neal has scored 45 points on the season for an average of 15 points a game and is giving up 81 points for an average of 27 points.
Hathcock and his Eagles will look to get back in the win column this week at home when they take on the Thomasville Tigers at W.S. Neal Stadium in East Brewton.
Game time is set for 7 p.m.
