Dennis Ray McDonald

Mr. Dennis Ray McDonald, 57, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at a local hospital. He was a native of Brewton and a 1970 graduate of Flomaton High School. He was retired from Monsanto/Solutia after 32 years of service. He was also employed with the Escambia County BOCC Road and Bridges as well as Lowe's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Estelle McDonald; a sister, Elizabeth “Missy”; and a brother, Ed McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie Rebber McDonald; a daughter, Amber McDonald Johnson; a stepdaughter, Jordan Gillis; brothers, Lee and Kenny McDonald; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Mary Rebber; two grandchildren, MacKenzie and Brandon “Bubbie” Johnson Jr.; and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment with the Rev. Thomas S. Fox and the Rev. Sanford Stanton officiating. Burial followed at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens with Faith Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Mike Merritt, Scott Garrison, Luke Courtney, Ray Payne, Scott Cochran and Carl Carlson. Honorary pallbearers were Donnie Rebber, Jason Rebber, David Stephens, Greg Cochran, David Spears, Clinton Guice, Tim Howard, and Robbie Suggs.
