Motivational speaker Jim Williams recently spent two days speaking to parents and school students about the importance of making good life-style choices.
Williams is the director of the Parent Education and Asset Development for STARS, a school-based program helping students make healthy choices.
He has developed a series of educational presentations for children as well as a series of parenting workshops for adults. He is the author of Parenting on Point and is the featured presenter on the video series ProActive Parenting, a part of the FaithHome for Parents series produced by Abingdon Press.
Williams' Brewton visit was sponsored by the First United Methodist Church.
