Mrs. Mary Riddle Ogletree, 84, of Kirkland Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in Brewton after an extended illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Brewton and was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church. She was a retired sales agent with Independent Life Insurance Company and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Howard Randy (Teresa) Ogletree and Glenn (Tammy) Ogletree, both of Brewton; two brothers, Memphis Riddle of Brewton, and Clayton Riddle of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Sarah Moore of Jacksonville, Fla.; a special grandson, Jeff Scott Ogletree of Brewton; two granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; a step-grandson and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Fitts and Speaker Winston Hobbs officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
