While Friday night's win proved to be another close non-region game for the Tigers with a 17-14 come-from-behind win over Clarke County, the Tigers get back into region play this week with a road trip to take on Calhoun.
The Tigers will take on Calhoun this week who is coming off a 57-6 loss to W.S. Neal this past Friday night in East Brewton. Calhoun is 1-4 overall and 1-2 in region play. The Tigers have been outscored 244-327 overall this season and 56-130 in region play.
In their last game, W.S. Neal held Calhoun to 50 yards of offense the entire game with 75 coming in the air and -25 coming on the ground. One ray of light for Calhoun may be in back No. 3 Jermarquese Davison.
While this week may not be as big a game, the two games in the next two weeks will be big for the Tigers. T.R. Miller will travel to Luverne next week and then be home for homecoming against Straughn.
The Tigers of Brewton and the Tigers of Calhoun will take on each other Friday night at Calhoun at 7 p.m.
