Mr. Rayford Paul Dyess, 72, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at his residence. He was a retired safety director with Hornady Trucking. He was a member of Lenox Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. Dyess of Lenox; a granddaughter, Wendy (Joel) Mayo Folmar of Range; a brother, Donnie (Jane) Dyess of Castleberry; two sisters, Chestine (Albert) Burch and Margaret (Willie) Tyree, both of Lenox; a great-granddaughter, Katie Folmar of Range; and many other friends and family.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Holiness Church with the Rev. Frankie Bell and the Rev. Houston Gill officiating. Burial followed at Ramah Primitive Baptist Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Monroeville directing.
