TRM cross country competes at Great Muddy

The T.R. Miller cross-country team competed in the Great Muddy Classic, and the girls team took third place and the boys took eighth.
For the girls, Shelby Youngblood took fourth place overall and first for the Lady Tigers with a time of 20:46.00.
Karissa Nelson, Katie Nelson, and Amber Nelson were ninth, 10th, and 11th for the Tigers respectively with times of 21:17.90, 21:26.30 and 21:27.70.
Desiree Gibbs took 52nd with a time of 25:23.10 and Amber Terry finished with a time of 25:30.40.
Leah Huff rounded out the Lady Tigers with a 72nd place finish and a time of 28:44.80.
For the boys, Geoff Youngblood finished first for the Tigers and 22nd overall with a time of 18:15.90. Brandon Nelson took 24th with a time of 18:18.30.
Cole Pruitt finished 59th with a time of 20:39.50. Taylor Terry finished 69th with a time of 21:04.30 followed by an 84th place finish for Corey Redfearn with a time of 22:15.60.
Jerric Woods rounded out the Tigers with an 113th place finish and a time of 24:39.10.
In the girls JV 5k race, Abby Carlson finished 21st for the Lady Tigers with a time of 26:50.30.
In the boys JV 5k race, Christian Carlson took 91st with a time of 25:51.20.
