Mr. James Michael “Smiley” Anderson, 30, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, in Castleberry from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native and longtime resident of Alabama. He was an electrician and of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Toni Anderson of Castleberry; a daughter, Tatum Salter of Castleberry; a brother, Jason Anderson of Castleberry; a sister, Christy (David) Black of Evergreen; a nephew, Ty Black of Evergreen; his paternal grandmother, Hazel Ballard of Monroeville; his maternal grandmother, Nadine Ryals of Castleberry and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct, 27, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed at Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
