Mr. Richard Wayne Terry, 28, died suddenly Oct. 29, 2008. He was a native and long time resident of Brewton before moving to West Palm Beach, Fla. He was a member of East Brewton Assembly of God Church, a 1999 graduate of T.R. Miller High School, a graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College, an aspiring artist and employed as a boilermaker at Erected Steel Products of Alabama.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Darlene Terry of East Brewton; a brother, Adam Terry of East Brewton; his grandparents, Pete and Peggy McCormick of Pollard, and Gerald and Ann Terry Fuqua of Brewton; and his great-grandfather, Arthur Lee McCormick of Pace, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2:30 p.m. at East Brewton Assembly of God Church with Brother Lowell Thomas, the Rev. Jeff Scurlock, and the Rev. Curtis Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
