Brewton Standard advertising manager Marilyn Raines has decided to retire from her position, and Amy Booker has joined the newspaper staff as an advertising sales representative.
Raines has spent 22 years at the newspaper.
Raines, a Brewton native, is married to Baxley Raines and has two children, Ashlee and Baxley, and a granddaughter, AliviaLee. She plans to spend more time with her family in her retirement.
Booker, a graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College and the University of Alabama, is an Evergreen native. She has newspaper sales experience at The South Alabama News and The Evergreen City-Press. She and her husband, Jason, are the parents of a daughter, Ali.
