I was able to be home for the parade in Brewton recently.  It was a breath of fresh air to me after having been gone almost 40 years.  
To see and experience the pride and family feeling of the people who were there to see the parade.  
This is truly what America is about, our children, our pride and our devotion to our home towns.  
I now live in Seattle, Washington and have been to many parades here but Brewton tops them all by making you feel a part of it.
