A Brewton couple was shot to death Saturday over what reports said began as an argument over a football game.
Dennis James Smith, 41, and Donna Kaye Hall Smith, 39, of Brewton, were killed in the incident, which happened Saturday in the Owassa community.
Michael W. Williams, 28, has been charged with two counts of murder. The incident allegedly happened in his home.
According to reports, the argument that led to the shooting involved the Alabama-LSU game, which Alabama won 27-21 Saturday.
