Chloe Simmons, District III vice president of Future Business Leaders of America, and her advisor LaTrenda Salter, paid a visit to the Escambia Brewton CTC Chapter of FBLA recently.
Simmons brought greetings from the state officer team and talked with the students about what FBLA had done for her. She encouraged the students to compete on the regional level, to work on completing the state project, and to set a positive example for other students by their dress, their actions, and their communications skills. She reviewed her journey as a state officer so far and shared plans for the rest of the school year. She and her advisor will be traveling to Washington DC in November to participate in the National Fall Leadership Conference with FBLA students and officers from the Southern and Eastern regions. Chole was elected in April of this year to represent the students of District III on the FBLA State Leadership Team. She encouraged the students to be active members of the organization because the more they put into it, the more they would get out of it. Chole is currently a junior at Satsuma High School.
